Using Softness

Hey Close Friends,

The other night I was detangling jewelry and I realized that in order detangle the chain, you have to be as soft and kind as possible. The harder you pull the chain, the more difficult it’s going to be to get it undone. That feels like a metaphor for life…. There’s not many things that I can think of that have strong brute force as the solution. Using kindness and softness is always a better tactic because it shows respect for others, creates an environment of understanding and empathy, and can create strong, meaningful relationships. Kindness is an investment in the future and it can create a chain reaction of positive interactions and outcomes. Brute force, on the other hand, can be viewed as aggressive and can lead to more hostility, resentment, and distrust. So there it is…. use softness with everything!
